Sep 29 2010: Dharun Ravi’s parents have remained silent on their son and Tyler Clementi. If Dharun Ravi had been the victim of a cyber voyeurism, would Ravi’s parents have remained mum? Would Ravi’s parents have cried racism? Dharun Ravi was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, having parents rich enough to post $25,000 bail. Surely Ravi, an 18 year old student, couldn’t pay $25,000 on his own. If he had the money, where did he get it from? How did he earn $25,000 at 18?
Tyler Clementi’s gay sex video related news clip is below. Clementi’s same sex partner has not been named but people who have viewed the videos may know the guy.
Tyler Clementi’s sex tape was posted online by his friends Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei. Dharun Ravi was alerted by the fact that Clementi asked to use the dorm room alone until midnight on Sep 19. Ravi went to Molly Wei’s room and switched on his webcam and saw Clementi having sex with another male. Ravi wrote a post on this and expressed his glee at catching his room mate making out with another gay
On Sep 21, Clementi asked Ravi to use the room alone again and Ravi tried to view this second sex encounter on his webcam. Ravi got online and invited other users of iChat to video chat him and maybe view the sexual intimacy again.

Dear Molly and Dharun:
I just wanted to pass on something a friend of mine has to deal with.
He did something similar to what you did, and his victim ended up taking his own life, too.
Today, my friend is genuinely remorseful and wishes more than anything that he could take back what he had done.
He says that, on top of feeling miserable everyday, he is constantly plagued with death threats from anonymous persons.
He can’t even sit still in a restaurant, incessantly looking over his shoulder, fearing someone is observing him.
To think that he actually did jail time and paid his debt to society, still to this day, his suffering is more than you can imagine.
Molly and Dhuran, I wish you all the luck you can get. You’re gonna need every bit of it in your long lives ahead.
May God forgive you both.
It should be three Felonies against both of them.
Maybe in the culture they are from that differences are not tolerated or looked upon favorably, but in America, if anyone has lived in the 1970 era-a time for womens right- racial harmony- and new immigrants from Asia arriving, hence, it was taught in schools repeatedly to respect peoples differences and their choices.New Americans, and new generations may need to learn this.
