Keith Phoenix, 28, was arrested for the murder of Jose Sucuzhanay. Phoenix was the second man arrested for Sucuzhanay’s death. Hakim Scott, 25, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb 24. Scott was accused of being involved in Sucuzhanay’s death on Dec 7, 2008.

Phoenix and Scott were allegedly motivated to assault Sucuzhanay because of anti-Latino and anti-gay sentiments.
