Philip Busse: St Olaf College Philip Busse resigns
By Clarencia Cynrae on November 4th, 2008Philip Busse, a professor at St. Olaf, Northfield, Minn., may have been forced out from his post. The Northfield News quoted the St Olaf spokesman, David Gonnerman, said St. Olaf contacted local law enforcement authorities and started its own investigations. Gonnerman said Philip Busse submitted his resignation. Philip Busse wrote on the internet, on a website, the Huffington Post, that he had removed McCain campaign signs. Philip Busse has been charged with misdemeanour theft.
Philip Busse also admitted that he marked down a student’s grade because he wore an Obama T shirt while he was presenting a paper Rush Limbaugh and talk radio’s impact on the presidential election. The student read Huffington Post and Philip Busse and threatened to send a copy of the article to the Dean of Students.
