Peter Dante, the actor who played the footballer QB in “The Waterboy”, has filed an application for a protective order. Dante said a lady friend’s husband threatened to physically harm him.

Dante said a man threatened him on the phone and showed up at his son’s Little League baseball games.

All this started when the man accused Dante of talking to his wife over the phone. Dante admitted he spoke with the lady friend but that was 6 months ago. Dante claimed they had not been in touch since then.

Dante wants a restraining order against the man. Dante felt threatened and feared for the safety of himself and his family. Dante wants protection for himself, his wife Cynthia and his 2 sons.
