Perry Farrell, ex singer of Jane’s Addiction, had performed in the same show as Travis Barker and DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) at TRVSDJ-AM at a free concert in Columbia, on Friday night, Sept. 19.

The sponsor for this free concert was T-Mobile. The show was 1 hour long. Gavin DeGraw also performed in this show. An estimated crowd of 10,000 poured into the streets of the neighborhood around Five Points. This was near the University of South Carolina. As Perry Farrell and Gavin DeGraw had performed in the same concert as Travis Barker and DJ AM there was speculation that they might have been in the fatal plane crash.
