Perez Hilton, aka Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., was sued for $25 million on July 14, 2008. The complaint was about Perez Hilton lying, releasing personal information without consent, and refusing to keep to the terms of conditions stated in his website. Diane Wargo, a nurse, filed the lawsuit.

Perez Hilton has a large fan base and they are protective over him. So when he publicized his pet cause, they followed and made life miserable for his antagonist.
