Penny Marshall, one half of “Laverne & Shirley”, has a brain tumor. Marshall, 66, has undergone a brain surgery to operate on her tumor. Marshall had her surgery on October 30, in a hospital in NY. Marshall has a second tumor in her liver.

Penny Marshall worked as a producer and director after she quit acting. Marshall first discovered she was sick after feeling unwell following a flight from LA to NY. Doctors scheduled Marshall for emergency surgery to take a biopsy to examine the tissue.
