Pedro Pablo Zamora was a Cuban American AIDS educator and reality TV star. His birth name was Pedro Pablo Zamora y Díaz. Zamora was gay and HIV positive. Zamora stayed with the program called “The Real World: San Francisco”.

Zamora educated people about HIV. Zamora went to the level that people felt comfortable with and talked about HIV issues in a way people could absorb unconsciously.

Pedro Zamora dated and married Sean Sasser. Zamora died at the age of 22 on Nov 11, 1994. After Zamora’s death, at the 2008 Real Worlds Awards Bash, Zamora and Sasser’s love story was nominated as the “Favorite Love Story”.

Zamora’s life was made into a biopic, “Pedro”, starring Alex Loynaz. You can read more about Zamora here.
