Paul Moccia, Daniel Bradley, Angel Ramirez: Moccia Bradley accused of killing Ramirez
By Clarencia Cynrae on June 8th, 2009Paul Moccia, 48 of Dedham, and Daniel Bradley, 47 of Westwood have been arrested. Bradley and Moccia were accused of killing Angel Antonio Ramirez, 37, of Framingham, in Wrentham, Massachsetts. Prosecutors accused Bradley and Moccia of murdering Ramirez, dismembering his body and cooking him to get rid of the remains.
Bradley and Moccia allegedly killed Ramirez to clear a drug debt. Ramirez was a construction worker who allegedly dealt in drugs. Moccia allegedly owed Ramirez $70,000 from drug deals. Prosecutors have accused Moccia of killing Ramirez in March 2009 and then enlisted the help of Bradley to dispose of Ramirez’s body.
The defense lawyers for Moccia and Bradley claimed their clients were innocent of the charges. Moreover, there was no body to be found. Ramirez was reported to be missing since March 20 2009. His death is unconfirmed.
Daniel Bradley and Paul Moccia were detained without bail.
Daniel P. Bradley is an assistant football coach at Xaverian Brothers High School. Bradley was arrested in June 2001 for possession of crack cocaine. Bradley’s case was dropped after the judge ruled the evidence was illegally obtained.
Paul E. Moccia is a toll collector and former prison guard at Charles Street Jail. Moccia was fired after 3 days because of an arrest stemming from cocaine use in 1987.
Angel Antonio Ramirez was an immigrant worker from Guatemala.
