Parminder Nagra was from UK. Her parents are Sikhs who emigrated from India during the 1960s. Nagra rose to fame in the movie, “Bend It Like Beckham.” Nagra was offered a role in ER and she shifted to Hollywood. Nagra has stayed with the TV show for about 5 years.
