Palin Sambo racial slur

By Clarencia Cynrae on September 7th, 2008

The Palin Sambo story started a few months ago. This is a gossip/ rumor and should be read as such.

A few months ago, when Barack Obama beat Hillary Rodham Clinton to become the Democrats’ choice for their Presidential election nominee, Sarah Palin was in a restaurant having lunch with a small group of political associates.

A waitress named Lucille recounted this story. Lucille asked not to be identified and she is part Aboriginal. According to Lucille, she was serving Sarah Palin’s lunch table when the subject of the Democrats’ primary internal battle was discussed. Lucille claimed Sarah Palin said, “So Sambo beat the bitc*!”

Sambo is a derogatory term in reference to a  person who is African American, non-Caucasian, person of color or…  you get the point. Sarah Palin supposedly laughed and her companions at the lunch table joined her in her witty remark.

The Palin Sambo is an allegation. The waitress Lucille did not want identification for fear of losing her job and other reprisals. So the Palin Sambo story can not be confirmed unless other sources come forward.

The website who narrated this incident is Media Takeout. How reliable is their site?

John McCain has an adopted daughter, Bridget McCain, who originally hailed from an orphange in the East. Bridget has dark skin. The inference is not nice.

A “colored person?” That’s almost as bad a slur as “Sambo.” Get with the program: try “person of color” or “African American.”

His sources are better described than the unnamed sources habitually used by the MSM. Do you call their articles “rumor” as well?
