A woman held her down by the hands while the flogging was done. A man held the woman down by her ankles. The flogging was done by a man. The victim was fully clothed.

It was unclear why the woman had a flogging. It could be due to some violation of the strict Islamic law in Pakistan’s Swat Valley, where the flogging video was taken. The female victim’s cries could be heard in the background, when the news reporters paused in their commentary.
