Verne Gagne, 82, a famous former wrestler, has been implicated in the death of his roommate. Gagne stays in a nursing home in Minnesota. Gagne’s roommate, Helmut R Gutmann lived with him in Friendship Village, a Bloomington living facility. Both Gagne and Gutmann have Alzheimer’s-related dementia.

Theodore Bayly, Janice Bayly, Colton Bayly in murder-suicide

Theodore Bayly, 39, of Belle Valley, Ohio, called the sheriff’s dispatcher at 2 am Wednesday Feb 18. Bayly told the telephone dispatcher that he killed his family and would be killing himself.

Carmen Sucart said Yuri Sucart is Alex Rodriguez’s cousin

Yuri Sucart is Alex Rodriguez’s cousin, who A-Rod claimed provided and injected him with steroids from 2001 – 2003. Yuri Sucart is a resident of Miami. Carmen Sucart, the wife of Yuri, confirmed that her husband was the man Rodriguez had referred to who had injected him with boli (steroid Primobolan).

Emile Zola: Emile Zola, French writer (photos)

I cried when I read Emile Zola’s fiction on coal miners in Germinal. Zola’s work translated may have lost some of his charm but did not lose his intensity. Zola weaved a complex story of hard lives, love found and lost and finally, a partial salvation through necrophilia.

A building manager, Cesar Rios, and his boss, a company called “234 E. 178th St.”, were convicted of being responsible for the Black Sunday fire that killed firefighters. The owner of the company was Leslie Berman. The fire was in the Bronx, NY.
