Ean Evans, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s bassist, has died. Evans died at the age of 48. Evans was the bassist with Lynyrd Skynyrd until he became too ill to continue. Evans had cancer. Lynyrd Skynyrd lost their keyboardist Billy Powell in January and now, they lost have Evans. Condolences to Ean Evans’ family, relatives, friends and fans.
Danny Ozark, a former Phillies manager, died. Ozark passed away at the age of 85. Ozark died in his home in Vero Beach, Florida.
John Gechter, 22, of Philadelphia, allegedly participated in gay porn video tapings. Gechter allegedly used a pseudonym when he knowingly made or engaged in the gay sex acts. Gechter has been suspended by Grove City College after a student recognized him in the online video on gay sex.
Lane Kiffin, head coach at the University of Tennessee, made a controversial recruitment of Daniel Hood. Daniel was convicted of the crime of raping his cousin, 14 years old, when he was 13 years old. Hood allegedly committed the rape together with his friend who was 17 at that time.
Kate Tucci, Stanley Tucci’s wife, has died. Kate Tucci died of cancer. Kate Tucci left behind three children. Mr Tucci paid a tribute to his wife when he said he admired her strength and her extraordinary personality. Stanley Tucci, an actor, held a funeral wake for Kate Tucci last weekend of May 2- 3.
Kevin Grubb, a driver with the Nationwide Series, has died. Grubb was found dead in Alpine Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Grubb’s cause of death has not been made public for now.
Updated July 24 – Matthew Broderick, husband of Sarah Jessica Parker, was allegedly dating a woman early in 2009. Star magazine spoke to the woman’s girlfriend, who revealed the relationship to the media. Broderick, 46, met the woman, a youth counselor, 25, at a bar. Broderick allegedly met the brunette at the Manhattan townhouse of a showbiz personality. The relationship has ended.
Broderick and Parker had a son, James Wilkie, 5, before having twins borne by a surrogate mother.
