Brittan Heller and Heide Iravani wanted to fight writers who posted unfavorable lies about them online. Heller and Iravani sued for defamation, invasion of privacy and emotional stress.
Updated May 14 20099 – Jim Leyritz called his friend from prison and told he was contemplating suicide. Jim Leyritz is now hospitalized in the psychiatric ward of a hospital in Hollywood. Leyritz was brought there by police on Wed, May 13. Leyritz became upset when his car failed to start because the monitoring device prevented it from starting. The blood alcohol monitoring device was installed after a court order.
It is the anniversary of Steven Kazmierczak’s death. It is also the death anniversary of five victims of Kazmierczak’s shooting spree. Steven Kazmierczak killed 5 people at Northern Illinois University on Feb 14 2008. Steven Kazmierczak wounded 18 students before committing suicide.
Nina Urban, a high school teacher, of Russell County, Kansas, was charged for sexual relations with a male student. Urban was accused of having unlawful sexual relations with a male student. Urban was released on a $10 G bond.
BA Flight 8456 crash landed at London City Airport. The 67 passengers and 4 crew were saved. This number is disputed as some news reported there were 5 crew and 67 passengers. Four people were treated at the site for minor injuries.

Rebecca Shaw, the co-pilot, was talking to Captain Marvin Renslow, about the ice conditions. Shaw admitted her inexperience dealing with ice and the type of plane. Renslow insisted he had the experience to handle the icing on the engine. The engines failed while Shaw and Renslow were unaware or unable to correct the problems.

Updated on March 27: DNA tests have disclosed that Alfie Patten is not the father of the baby Maisie Roxanne. The biological father’s identity is unknown.
