Four students from Pacific Union College in Angwin have died in Napa Valley, California. The four students were in a car which was speeding and it skidded. The car crashed into opposing traffic and was hit by a truck and another vehicle. Sandalo Martinez, 28, the driver of the truck, was critically injured. Martinez is expected to survive. He will be arrested on suspicion of drunken driving when he is well enough to be discharged from hospital.

Carlos Rio Ortiz, 20, the driver of the third vehicle, had minor injuries. Ortiz was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and giving false information to a peace officer.

The students were identified as the driver, Boaz Joshua Pak, 20, from Hidden Valley Lake and passengers Luke Kotaro Nishikawa, 22, from Honolulu; Chong Whon Shin, 20, from Aloha, Ore.; and Simon Chulmin Son, 19, from Hidden Valley Lake.
