On Sunday, May 24, a paramedic team had loaded a patient into an ambulance when the local Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper team of officers objected to a close call on the road. One trooper took a paramedic aside to talk to him at the front of the ambulance.

Another paramedic was at the back of the ambulance. There was an argument and it turned physical as the trooper grabbed the paramedic by the scuff of his neck. The paramedic remained calm as he tried to tell his side of the situation.

The sick patient’s family members reminded the troopers and paramedics that the woman was already in the ambulance waiting to be taken to hospital. The officers came to their senses and broke up their fight.
