Octavia St Laurent was an American transgendered performer. Laurent’s story was featured in the documentary “Paris Is Burning” (1990).

Octavia St Laurent was in another documentary, “How Do I Look” (2003). Laurent changed her stage name to Heavenly Angel Octavia St. Laurent Manolo Blahnik. She talked about her use of drugs, sex work, and fight with AIDS.

Octavia changed her name again to become Octavia St. Laurent Mizrahi. Octavia passed away on May 17th, 2009.

    I am the brother of Octavia St. Laurent and she was the bravest person I knew. Even more brave than the wanna be gangster stalkers in Virginia who thinks that they are somebody but are not!!!
