Nova Henry, 24, of South Side Chicago, was fatally shot in her apartment. Ava Henry, her daughter,9 months, was also killed. Another child in the same apartment was unharmed.

Nova Henry was Eddy Curry’s ex girlfriend. Nova Henry and Eddy Curry had a son, now 3 years old. This is the child who was unharmed during the killing of his mother and stepsister. The boy witnessed the killings.

A source close to Eddy Curry, New York Knicks’ center, said Curry was very upset.

Police said the murderer is a known acquaintance to Nova Henry. Autopsies are being performed on Sunday.
