Noncho Vodenicharov, 53, of Bulgaria, died overseas in the Philippines. Noncho Vodenicharov had a heart attack and died on Saturday, May 30. Vodenicharov was in the Philippines to participate in the Bulgarian version of the TV show Survivor when he was suddenly taken by a heart attack.

Vodenicharov had finished an episode of the reality TV show at the Gota Beach Resort in Caramoan township, in eastern Camarines Sur province, of the Philippines.

Vodenicharov was a town mayor in his native homeland. Vodenicharov had worked as a stuntman and singer before he took office as a mayor.
