Nina Urban, a high school teacher, of Russell County, Kansas, was charged for sexual relations with a male student. Urban was accused of having unlawful sexual relations with a male student. Urban was released on a $10 G bond.

When Urban learned she was wanted, she surrendered to her local authorities. Urban was arrested and posted her bond on Jan 29.

The male student’s parents told the sheriff’s investigators that Urban and their son were engaging in a sexual relationship. Urban has been placed on administrative leave. The school superintendent said Urban had been teaching for 2 years at Lucas-Luray High School and was into her third year at the school.
