Nina C Baccala, 36, of North Providence, is a Massachsetts lawyer. Baccala moonlighted as a social escort to beef up her income. William V Lapierre was supposed to hire Baccala’s services.

On April 26, Baccala was at Lapierre’s apartment when he pulled a knife on her and demanded her money. Baccala fought off Lapierre using a chemical spray and ran outside to call police. Officers arrested Lapierre.

The bond for Lapierre is $100,000.Lapierre has a criminal history dating back 20 years. Lapierre had been arrested before for drug possession and assaults.

Nina Baccala wanted to recant her allegation because she said the publicity would ruin her life.
