Nickevette Rhonshondo Carey & Michael Motte: Carey killed Motte
By Therese Lisieux on June 28th, 2009Michael Motte, a former football player for SFA Lumberjack, was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Nacogdoches. Motte was approached by a group of men, outside Harlon’s BBQ. The robbery attempt was interrupted and as the suspects drove away, they fired shots at Motte.
Motte had pushed down Ashell Waller, his female companion. Motte saved Waller as he received the brutal onslaught of bullets. Motte died in hospital. Motte is survived by his two young children.
Police caught Nickevette Rhonshondo Carey, a native of Nacogdoches. Carey was arrested and charged with murder.

Hope Carey burns for what he did….its people like him that make this world a scary place for our children and family to grow up in We could only be blessed to have an outcome such mike in not only this community but also this world…he was a hero to many a father to two and a friend to all. ….he was a truely great guy and will be missed thanks to horrible unfortunate people such a carey….hopefully our justice system will make an example of such a evil villan and prosecute outside of the max….i could only pray…that Carey’s family doesn’t have to know the monster that he is….and know the angel that he took away….

I cant believe that something like this has happened to our dear friend and great brother.How dare Carey take his life and then he planned on the sh**.He just a jealous as* kid that needed some attention..He is weak and i hope he gets just as weak and kill his damn self..Now we have to mourn the lost of our family and he gets a chance to sit in jail and think about it..all i can say is Lord forgive him and please give all of Micheal’s friends and family the strength to do the same and help us to heal the hate that we have in our hearts for this kid carey.

I cant believe this! I just heard from a mutual friend what happened yesterday. My heart just dropped. I’ve known Michael since elementary school right up through graduation from North Shore. He has always been such a loving, caring, considerate person. It’s sad ppl do not value the lives of others anymore. My thoughts and prayers are forever with the Motte family.
