Updated Dec 24 2009 – Nicholas Cage is being sued again. Once, Nicholas Cage was one of the richest actors in Hollywood. Now, things fall apart for Cage he went bust and is being sued by several people.

Nicholas Cage is sued by Red Curb Investments. In 2007, Red Curb loaned Cage $3.5 million for a property deal. Cage had signed to repay the loan at capital plus 10% interest, which amounted to $29,166.67 per month. Red Curb claimed Cage still owed them $1,850,269.67.

Red Curb claimed Cage deceived them when he took the loan. Red Curb said Cage owed IRS money and he needed money to repay IRS so he was at risk on defaulting on his loan. Red Curb wants $15 million because Cage allegedly committed fraud by non-disclosure of his financial status.

Red Cage named Nicholas Cage as the defendant in the lawsuit and Samuel Levin as the co-defendant. Levin was Cage’s former business manager. Cage laid the blame on Levin for creating financial difficulties for him.@

Updated Dec 8 2009 – Nicholas Cage’s ex-wife, Christina Fulton, has filed a lawsuit against him. Fulton claimed Cage abused her with financial, mental, physical and emotional sufferings.

Fulton claimed Cage failed to honor his promise of giving her a house in LA. Fulton said she discovered this in 2009 when she tried to sell the said house. Fulton claimed Cage tried to evict her in September 2009. Fulton has a lawsuit against Cage’s former business manager, Sam Levin.

Nicholas Cage and Christina Fulton had a child together while they were married. Their son is named Weston Cage.

Why did Nicholas Cage sue Samuel Levin? Nicholas Cage sued his business manager, Samuel Levin. Cage claimed Levin mis-managed his assets and caused him financial ruin. Cage filed a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court.

Cage claimed Levin caused him to lose money and he was forced to sell away his assets, investments and face tax liabilities. Levin managed Cage’s businesses for the past 7 years. Cage said Levin put his money in risky real estate investments and lost money.

Cage said that it was the responsibility of his business manager Levin to pay his taxes punctually. Consequently, the IRS has filed a liens against Cage for $6 million in back taxes. Cage has fired Levin and found out the truth about his dire state of financial affairs.

Cage is represented by Marty Singer. Cage alleged Levin failed to give proper advice on financial matters. Cage claimed Levin over-extended his credit line with banks. Cage said he was unaware he was running short of money while buying assets. Cage accused Levin of failing to warn and advise him of his finances.

Nicholas Cage wants to sue Samuel Levin for a minimum sum of $20 million. Cage claims he paid Levin millions and was over-charged for business services.

Forbes estimated that Cage earned about $40 million from June 2008 to June 2009. Cage is the owner of several castles around the world.

Nicolas Cage was born Nicolas Kim Coppola on Jan 7, 1964. Cage met his wife, Alice Kim, in Feb, 2004. Nicolas is sometimes mis-spelled as “Nicholas”.

Alice Kim was working at Le Prive, a restaurant in LA. Alice Kim was waiting on the table Nicolas Cage occupied.

Cage and Kim became engaged in April 2004. On July 30, 2004, Cage and Kim were married. This was Cage’s third marriage and Kim’s first.

Cage was married to Patricia Arquette on April 8, 1995. They were divorced on May 18, 2001. Cage married Lisa Marie Presley on August 10, 2002. Cage and Presley separated after 107 days, in Dec, 2002. By May 16, 2004, Cage and Presley were divorced.

Cage has two sons. Weston Coppola Cage was born in 1992 and his mother is Kristina Fulton, a model. Kal-el Coppola Cage was born on October 3, 2005. Kal-el’s mother is Alice Kim.
