Neal Hefti, a famous jazz composer, died on Saturday, Oct. 11. Hefti passed away at home in Toluca Lake, Ca. Neal Heft was 85 when he died. Neal Hefti’s late wife, Frances Wayne, had died in 1978. Hefti’s survivors include a son, brother, sister and there grandchildren.
