Eugene Peguies, 19, of Detroit, is accused of killing Clarence Jones, 86. Peguies has been jailed without bond conditions.

Clarence Jones was house sitting for his friend when he was attacked and beaten to death. Jones was helping his friend take care of the house as his friend was hospitalized.

Peguies allegedly attacked Jones and assaulted him. Jones’ wallet was missing.

Mr Jones left behind 5 children. Jones’ son, Bill Jones, plays basketball with the NBA. Mr Jones Sr had also left behind his grandchildren.
