Nathaniel Turner, 7, died after he received a beating from someone. Turner’s father, Leslie Schuler, has been suspected of assaulting Turner. Schuler was arrested and charged for causing Turner’s death.

Turner’s mother, Alicia Turner, had custody of her son. However, since she was unwell with mental health problems, her mother, Christine Taylor, took care of Turner.

After the beating on Sunday, June 21, Turner was sent to hospital and placed on life support. The judge in charge of Turner’s case ruled that Turner could be removed from life support. Turner then died on Wednesday, June 24.
