Natasha Ryan, 14, disappeared from her home in Queensland, Australia, in 1999. Ryan remained missing until 2002, when a convicted and imprisoned killer, Leonard Fraser, was secretly taped and heard confessing that Natasha Ryan was killed.

Leonard Fraser was tried in 2003 for the multiple murders of 4 women, including Natasha Ryan.

Natasha Ryan was found living with her boyfriend, Scott Black. Police searched Black’s home and found Natasha Ryan hiding in a closet. All through the years, Ryan was living with her boyfriend, Scott Black, in his home, less than a mile away from her parents’ home, in Queensland.

Scott Black was tried and sentenced to 1 year in prison for perjury and fined $3000. Black had lied that he was unaware of Ryan’s whereabouts when he was questioned in 1999. In addition, Black had to pay $16,740 for the costs incurred while searching for Natasha Ryan.

Natasha Ryan was fined $1000 for causing a false police investigation. Ryan had sold her story to newspapers in Australia. The story had a happy ending when Natasha Ryan and Scott Black were married in 2008.

Natasha Ryan, at 14, was probably hiding her relationship with her boyfriend because she was underaged.
