Devendra Banhart & Natalie Portman breakup: Portman & Banhart split

Devendra Banhart has become the ex boyfriend of Natalie Portman. Devendra Banhart’s friend told People magazine that he and Portman decided to split. Neither Portman nor Banhart has issued any statement.

There was no other information on what caused the break. A friend of Banhart, the rock singer, told In Touch Weekly that Devendra Banhart and Natalie Portman will remain friends. They need dome time to attend to their personal concerns. Portman firs met Banhart after she was contracted to film a role in his video named “Carmensita.” Portman and Banhart started dating after their meeting. Once, Portman and Banhart were a pair that seemed pretty thick. Portman supposedly shifted to live in LA to be closer to his place. Banhart had also traveled with Portman to Cannes and Israel.

Natalie Portman donates “Movie for Humanity Award” cash to Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania

Natalie Portman gets “Movie for Humanity Award” at the Venice Film Festival. Natalie got recognition for her work on social and environmental programs.

Portman won $50,000 in prize money that accompanied the award. Natalie Portman donated her prize money to the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania, where Portman supports the Tacare Girl’s Scholarship Program. Natalie Portman was at the Venice Film Festival to present her first ever film as a director in Eve, a short film.
