Natalie Holloway: Is Joran van der Sloot responsible for Natalee Holloway?

By Clarencia Cynrae on September 19th, 2008

Natalee (or Natalie) Ann Holloway, 18, disappeared on May 30, 2005, during a high school graduation trip to Aruba, a country belonging to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The case went cold due to lack of evidence.

On February 1, 2008, Aruba’s authorities received a video confession of Joran van der Sloot under the influence of marijuana. Joran van der Sloot denied that he confessed the truth. Joran van der Sloot said he was lying when he told the story to Peter R. de Vries, a Dutch TV crime reporter who went undercover to snare van der Sloot.

The video on Joran van der Sloot talking to Peter R. de Vries is here. It has English subtitles. There are many more videos on Natalee Holloway on YouTube if you follow the links there.

Updated march 20:

A cadaver dog and its handler were flown to Aruba, on an American Airlines flight. The cadaver dog will search for Holloway’s remains.
