Namrata Shrestha and DJ Tantrik were allegedly engaged in sexual intimacy when the cell phone video was shot. The sex tape has been spammed and Tantrik’s wife has seen it.
Namrata Shrestha was a respected showbiz personality until this controversy. It is unsure if her career will be affected by the rumored sex tape.
DJ Tantric’s real name is Kicha Man Chitrakar.
Shrestha has allegedly admitted making her sex tape with Chitrakar. Shrestha bravely said it was her personal affair and did not welcome any queries about it.
Shrestha knows that the Nepal society has changed the last major sex scandal involving Shrisha Karki.
In 2002, Shrisha, an actress, committed suicide after a newspaper exposed her as a hooker. Kishor Shrestha, the editor of the paper, was threatened with arrest after he published the exposure with nude photos of Shrisha Karki. Nepal has evolved into a more permissive society and sex tapes, adultery and scandals are blown over like storms in a tea cup.
Namrata Shrestha is predicted to be made of sterner stuff and she will survive this sex tape scandal.
