Nafisa Ali, of India, is an actress and social activist. Ali was born on Jan 18, 1957. Ms Ali was famous when she won the national swimming champion title from 1972 – 74.

Nafisa did not rest on her laurels as she competed in a different kind of contest. Ms Ali won Miss India in 1976. The following year, Ali was the runner up at Miss International.

Nafisa Ali will replace Sanjay Dutt as the Samajwadi party (SP) nomination to contest the Lok Sabha elections in Lucknow.
