That is MSNBC will align with those who hate the current out-going president George W Bush. That will be short-lived since Bush leaves soon. Then what? If the Democrat Obama wins, MSNBC will have to find another internal campaign to hitch a ride on.

Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews are Democrats. MSNBC may have circulated an internal memo on a new strategy to gain traffic – Fighting News Anchors. MSNBC's convention coverage was in 2nd place, ahead of Fox, during prime time on Monday, August 25.
