Monica Seles has published her new autobiography entitled “Monica Seles: Getting A Grip On My Body, My Mind, My Self”. Monica Sele’s book will be available in stores from Tuesday, April 21, 2009.

Günter Parche is the man who stabbed Monica Seles in her back. Look at pictures of Monica Sele just after being stabbed by Gunter Parche. Gunter Parche did not intend to kill Monica Seles but to maim her temporarily.

Monica Seles was playing her quarterfinal tennis match in Hamburg Germany in 1993. For the rest of that year, Monica Seles ws prevented from playing tennis. When Monica Seles returned to tennis in 1995, she could not play at the level she last left off.

Günter Parche was apprehended and detained after stabbing Monica Seles in her upper back.
