Monica Embree, 36, of Michigan, allegedly stabbed her stepson in the back with a kitchen knife. Embree has decided to admit it and pleaded guilty. Embree pleaded guilty to assault, and interfering with a criminal report.

Embree testified she was very angry when she had a fight with her stepson on April 17, 2009. That was when she stabbed the boy. Joseph Embree, 34, the father of the boy, was charged with accessory after the fact. Joseph Embree is due to appear in court on July 17.
