Monica Arnold, 29, is still standing after her personal tragedies. Monica uses her first name as her professional stage name as a R & B singer. From October 27, Monica’s documentary on her life, will be aired on BET TV. Monica chose the title of one of her songs, Still Standing, as the title of her show. Its called “Monica: Still Standing”.

In 2000, Monica Arnold’s boyfriend Jarvis Weems killed himself. Monica witnessed the suicide of her boyfriend, Jarvis “Knot” Weems. Weems was her childhood friend and a local drug dealer. On July 18, 2000, Monica and Weems were at a cemetery visiting the grave of Troy Weems, the younger brother of Jarvis. Troy Weems death was due to a car accident in 1998. Troy was 25 when he died. Weems called Monica and asked her to go see him at the cemetery. Weems asked Monica to look after his 2 daughters.

On that day, while sitting in his car, Jarvis Weems pulled out a gun and shot himself. Monica later said she thought Weems was depressed over his affairs.

Monica Arnold dated Corey “C-Murder” Miller from around 2001 to 2003. It didn’t work out. C-Murder was arrested for murder some time later on.

Monica renewed her relationship with Rocko, who is actually Rodney Hill Jr. Rocko is a rapper.

Monica gave birth to their son on May 21, 2005. Monica Arnold was engaged to Rocko Hill on December 24, 2007. Monica and Rocko had their second son on Jan 8, 2008.

Monica said she agreed to co-produce and star in “Monica: Still Standing” to share her experiences combining a music career with a personal life.
