Miss Wayne County Nicole Blaszczyk was crowned Miss Michigan 2009. Nicole Blaszczyk won her latest beauty pageant on Sat, June 20. Nicole Blaszczyk is a student at Wayne State University.

On Thursday night, Nicole Blaszczyk, 22, of Novi, had won the Talent Award after she performed a dance item.

The new Miss Michigan Nicole Blaszczyk has won prizes of a $10,000 scholarship, wardrobe allowance, a car and other miscellaneous prizes.

The outgoing Miss Michigan 2008 is Ashlee Baracy. Miss Baracy was also Miss Wayne County before she was crowned Miss Michigan. Wayne County has made a new name for itself, being the winner for the beauty title of Miss Michigan for two consecutive years.
