Miss Teen Louisiana Lindsey Evans, the reigning beauty queen, will surrender her crown in November. It is a pity that Lindsey Evans boowed out with a bit of spotlight on her arrest. Lindsey Evans was arrested on two charges of theft and marijuana possession, on Oct 20, Monday night.

Miss Teen Louisiana went dining with her friend and left the establishment without paying. The bill was $46.07. Lindsey Eavns thought she could get a free meal but little did she know that she had to return to the restaurant because she left her purse in the bathroom. Evans had a shock waiting for her. She got busted for theft and pot. Her friend did not take the rap for the restaurant bill nor was named as an accomplice.

Lindsey Evans has lost her crown and sash. RPM Productions Inc, the main sponsor of Miss Teen Louisiana, took back the crown. Miss Teen Louisiana resident, Paula M. Miles, said this on Wed. Lindsey Evans lost her crown 11 days short of ending her reign.

The new Miss Teen Louisiana (of 2009) will be chosen Nov. 1 at a pageant in Lafayette. Michelle Berthelot, Miss Louisiana USA 2008, will crown the new winner.
