John McCain has hired beauty queen, Miss South Carolina, Ashley Zais, to be in charge of his interns. Ashley Zais is not the same as  Miss Teen South Carolina, who messed up a geography answer during the Miss Teen USA contest last August.

Ashley Zais, is a recent Wofford graduate. Ashley Zais would become McCain’s intern coordinator at the campaign’s headquarters. Ashley Zais met McCain last year when the senator John McCain gave a speech at South Carolina’s Newberry College. Ashley Zais’ father is president of Newberry College. Mitchell Zais, a retired Army general, and McCain became friends.
