Miriam Makeba, a singer from South Africa, has died. Miriam Makeba, also known as Mama Africa, died on Monday. Miriam Makeba had performed in a concert in Italy. Makeba suffered a heart attack after 30 minutes of singing. Makeba was brought to a clinic but she died.

Miriam Makeba was 76 when she passed away. South Africa and her fans are in mourning. Makeba was banned from South Africa for 30 years because of the content of her songs. Miriam Makeba was accused of being a political activist by the people who wanted to maintain apartheid in South Africa.
