Mindy McCready has announced she will surrender herself to Tennessee authorities to start her 60 days jail term. Mindy McCready has a probation violation. Mindy McCready, 32, has been in jail before. This time, McCready’s offence was an arrest for violating probation for prescription drug fraud. McCready incurred this arrest in June 2008. McCready wants to face the music now.

Mindy McCready said that she wanted to put her past behind her and concentrate on her music. McCready released her statement on Monday, September 29. This was advance preparation for McCready intended to start serving jail time on Tuesday. McCready said she wanted to thank her fans for their support. Mindy McCready promised to work on her recovery and to gain custody of her son, Zander Ryan. Presently, Zander Ryan is cared for by Terri, McCready’s mother.

Mindy McCready has a large fan base. It was known McCready entered rehab on July 16. McCready had a jail term in 2007 for probation violation on an old drug arrest in 2004.
