Harvey Milk was San Francisco’s first gay Supervisor. Harvey Milk lived from 1930 – 1978. Milk was an activist for gay rights. Harvey Milk was assassinated by Dan White.

The movie Milk is a biopic. “Milk” will premiere on Nov. 26 2008. On Nov 27, it will be the 30th anniversary of the death of Harvey Milk. Harvey Milk is played by Sean Penn. Dan White’s role is acted by Josh Brolin. Emile Hirsch and James Franco also have roles in “Milk.”
