Mike Burden, former associate head coach of University of Maine, was charged with sexual assault. Mike Burden allegedly committed the offense on Sunday, May 10.

Mike Burden, 36, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman outside a night club in Bangor. Her friend, who came by to assist her, was also assaulted by Burden. Burden taught basketball to the men’s team for 4 years. Burden was promoted to be the associate head coach this year. On Monday, May 11, Mike Burden resigned from his basketball coaching position.
