Mike and the Mad Dog, one of the most successful radio shows in New York, may be breaking up. Mike is Mike Francesa and the Mad Dog is Christopher Russo.

Mike Francesa has other lucrative deals on radio and he won’t miss his $1 million salary from Mike and the Mad Dog. Mike Francesa refused to give any public statement on the rumors about Mike and the Mad Dog.

Mike Francesa and Christopher Russo in their Mike and the Mad Dog show would celebrate their 19th anniversay on Sept. 5. If Mike and the Mad Dog survives until then, they would be 19 years old; if not they were would be 18. 18 years is a long time on WFAN radio station.
