Michelle Rhee was photographed wearing a smart black pant suit and holding a broom. Michelle Rhee was depicted in a stern light and a reformer who swept away the old ways.

Michelle Rhee’s interview with Time Magazine showed her insights into her concerns. Rhee said she is a Democrat but she almost voted for John McCain because she had no confidence in the Democrats with regards to their education policies. Michelle Rhee has fought the Washington State’s Teachers’ Union for more administrative power to dismiss ineffective teachers. Teachers’ unions have supported Obama.
