Michael P. Pigott is dead. Lt. Michael W. Pigott, of New York City, gave an order to fire a Taser stun gun at an emotionally disturbed man, Iman Morales. Iman Morales, 35, fell to his death as he was standing naked on the second storey of a building.

Iman Morales fell head first to ground level on Sept. 24. The police had called for an air bag but Michael Pigott gave the order to fire the Taser before the air bag arrived to be positioned. Michael Pigott expressed sorrow over the death of Iman Morales. On Thurs., Oct. 2, Michael Pigott was discovered dead, from an apparent suicide. Pigott was found in the locker room of the police station. Pigott was 46 and had served 21 years with the police force. Pigott is survived by his wife Susan, two sons and a daughter.
