Michael Savage unrepentant on autism

Michael Savage is a conservative talk-show host whose books include “The Political Zoo” etc. For all his conservative stance, Michael Savage has an outspoken opinion on autism. Last week, Michael Savage sort of labeled nearly every autistic child as “a brat who hasn’t been told to cut the act out.”

According to Michael Savage, he thought autism was a deliberate behavior that could be eliminated willfully by the child. Even in this second week of his controversial remarks, Michael Savage said in a telephone interview to the media on Monday morning that he stood by his remarks.

Michael Savage used his national syndicated show on Monday, July 21, to defend his stance on autism.
I have seen some autistic children. I think autism is a real medical and behavioral condition and autism is not faked.

    Unless you have a child or a relative that has autism, you really dont know the depth of the behavior that person has. A few minutes with just observing a person with autism isnt going to give you conclusion of your opinion.
