Chris Engen, the actor who plays Adam Wilson in the TV series, Young and the Restless, grew restless and walked off the set. Engen was rumored to have disillusions about the character development of Adam Wilson after the script called for a gay kissing scene. Chris Engen quits over the gay kissing scene.

Chris Engen has been involved with Catholicism for a long time and he may have reservations against gay kissing. Engen had attended Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, California.

Engen still has contract obligations to fulfill with CBS. CBS may sue Engen for breach of contract. Adam Wilson will be played by Michael Muhney starting Thursday, June 25, 2009.
