Michael Moore will give away “Slacker Uprising” from September 23 and the documentary will stay available as a free download for three weeks.

This free offer for “Slacker Uprising “ is available to North American residents via Moore’s website, SlackerUprising.com. The DVD version will be released on Oct. 7. Michael Moore’s free offer is meant to show his appreciation to his fans who have supported him the past two decades. It will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of “Roger & Me”, made in 1989. Moore’s motive is to encourage a large turnout of young voters on Nov. 4.

Slacker Uprising is a documentary. It was compiled during the 2004 election campaign and detailed Moore’s journey through 62 cities in swing states as he went on the get-out-the-youth-vote tour
