Michael Mineo, of Brooklyn, has accused a New York Police Department officer of sexual assault. The video of CBS news on Michael Mineo is here. Michael Mineo claimed a police officer sodomized him with a police radio antenna. Mineo said 4 police men held him down as one of them probed him with a radio antenna. Mineo claimed that his sexual violation happened on the platform of the Prospect Park station.

Michael Mineo spoke to reporters and cried in front of them. Michael Mineo had spent 4 days in a hospital after the alleged attack on Wed., Oct. 15. Then, on Thur., Oct 23, Mineo complained of pain and blood in his urine so he was admitted into hospital again. The Brooklyn D.A. office is investigating this case. DNA evidence from an alleged piece of equipment was submitted for tests. NYPD police said no such attack occurred and two witnesses backed up their claim.

Rev. Al Sharpton, of Harlem, said this could be a police misconduct case. Mineo is white while the accused officers are not.
